Overview

Smart Tool Hub ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and the free online calculators it provides. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We designed this site to be privacy-respecting by default: you can use every calculator without creating an account, and the numbers you enter are processed on your own device.

What We Collect and What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell the values you type into our calculators. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to use any tool. There is no login and no user profile. The only information we receive falls into two narrow categories: anonymous, aggregated analytics about how the site is used, and data that advertising partners may collect through cookies in order to display ads.

Calculator Inputs Stay in Your Browser

Every calculator on Smart Tool Hub runs entirely with client-side JavaScript. When you enter a salary, a loan amount, a body weight, or a date, that value is handled by your browser and is never sent to our servers. As a result, we cannot see your inputs, and there is no server-side database of your calculations. Refreshing or closing the page permanently discards the values you entered.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are popular and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics collects anonymous information such as your approximate region, device type, browser, referring page, and the pages you view. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the official browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser settings.

Advertising and Cookies

We display advertising — including through Google AdSense — to keep the calculators free. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance. Google and its partners may use the DoubleClick cookie or device identifiers for personalized advertising. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set, and you can decline personalized advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings.

Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them only for the purposes described above — analytics and advertising. We do not use cookies to store calculator inputs. Data Retention

Because we do not store your calculations, there is nothing of that kind to retain or delete. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to its own retention settings. Advertising data is retained by the relevant advertising partners under their own policies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California). These may include the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for personalized advertising. Since we do not collect personally identifying information from calculator use, most requests concern analytics and advertising data held by third parties; we will help you route such requests to the appropriate provider. Children's Privacy

Smart Tool Hub is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
